Q. Will this kit allow me to find out why my check engine light is illuminated?
A. Yes, the kit will let you read fault codes & will give you a description of the fault. It will also let you erase the fault codes and the check engine warning light.

A. Yes, the kit will let you read & clear the airbag fault codes and remove the SRS airbag warning light.

A. Yes, this kit will let you read fault codes for the braking system. It will give you a unique fault code relating to a specific part of the abs system, for example 'rear left abs sensor' The kit will also allow you to erase the fault codes and dash warning lights.

Q. What is the difference between the CR MAX and the CR MAX P
A. The CR MAX P has a bigger screen than the CR MAX (10 inch vs 7 inch) and the CR MAX P comes with additional cables/connectors whoch allows DOIP (Diagnostics Over Internet Protocol) for newer vehicles with security gateway/firewalls.

I bought this for my BMW 3 series (e90) to diagnose an ABS/DSC warning light combo. The tool allowed me to diagnose a faulty rear right ABS sensor. Thank you so much. I needed this tool for my Citroen C3 because my MOT is due and it would have failed with the ABS warning light on the dash. An absolute peach of a tool this. We have a Renault, a Vauxhall and a Hyundai in the family and was advised by Alistair at Diagnostic World to go for the CR Plus kit as it covers a wide range of cars for the main systems and he was not wrong. I have conected this up to all 3 cars, and it connects to them all allowing me to diagnose & communicate with all systems like the engine, abs, airbags, transmission & even do oil service message resets. Really pleased with the kit and I would recommend this to anybody.
