QUESTION FROM CUSTOMER: Hi, I purchased a cheap alternative off amazon and of course it doesnt work (says no codes, but there are ABS errors etc). Can i just confirm this will work with a 2005 V70 2.4 none turbo? Cheers
ANSWER FROM DIAGNOSTIC WORLD: The problem with the cheaper OBD2 code readers is that they will only read/clear fault codes in the engine system. So the cheap Amazon product was never going to work on the ABS system of your Volvo. The good news is that the VOL V1.0 has the ability to diagnose/reset all systems in your Volvo V70 (including the ABS system) and so it will allow you to find the fault, and then reset everything when you are done You can buy the iCarsoft VOL V1.0 here.
