I am really pleased with the LR V1.0 kit. I had previously used the i930 kit to diagnose a check engine light on my 2003 Range Rover but was constantly greeted with a communication failure message. I have sinces used the LR V1.0 and it instantly performs much better and allows me to read codes in all of the main systems like engine, abs airbags, transmisison and also gives really useful live data. (as well as code reading/clearing in other systems) Great to see that the iCarsoft engineers have recognised an issue with the older tools and corrected it with the new tools.

The code reader arrived for my Range Rover this morning, I successfully reset the air suspension compressor hard fault and cleared a lot of historical faults in other modules. It’s a cracking bit of kit , I should have bought one years ago ( I have had the car for 11 years ! )

This has done everything I needed it to on My Jaguar XF. Firstly the airbag warning light was showing up which simply needed to be reset with the scanner. I have also reset the 'SERVICE REQUIRED' message on the dashboard. It is a very handy tool just to even keep in the glovebox.

This tool actually saved my life. Having originally bought it for my Freelander 2 ABS issue (which was sorted out by replacing the rear right ABS sensor) I kept the tool in the car with me. To cut a long story short I was about 200 miles from home when the car went into limp mode. I would have been completely stuck without this tool, but it allowed me to keep resetting the fault and drive home to eventually sort the issue. I would definately recommend it to anybody who is unsure.

Very easy to use with the big screen and the bigger buttons. Much easier to use than the previous i930 kit. I bought it to do the service resets on my Range Rover Sport which it did with absolute ease within seconds. Everybody should have one of these in their tool box.

Thank you to Alistair @ Diagnostic World who helped me get the right tool for my Jaguar XF. I had the check engine light and service lights showin on the dash which I have easily reset with this V1.0 kit. It's very easy to use even for an old codger like me (in my 70's)

Does not cover DPF regeneration which i thought it would at least do that, turns out I need the LR V2.0 for that function, anyway it does everything else very well though as I tested the engine, abs, airbags, transmission, parking sensors systems and all checks out ok (car is a 2007 Range Rover)
