SEAT Ibiza Mk3 airbag warning light - indicates a problem within the airbag system and needs to be checked out ASAP. You should use a diagnostic tool which covers the airbag system such as the iCarsoft i908 Seat OBD Code Reader. The kits will tell you where within the airbag system the fault is occuring, and also allow you to clear the dashboard airbag light. 

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 engine warning light - this light will stay illuminated if there is a malfunction within the engine after start up - we would advise you to use the iCarsoft i908 Seat OBD Code Reader to diagnose the engine problem, the kit will also clear the codes & reset the dashboard light. 

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 washer fluid level - indicates that your windscreen washer fluid is low. 

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 tailgate warning light - indicates that your bootlid/tailgate/trunk is open, please close it correctly before driving on. 

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 oil level warning light - should the warning light flash or light up
while driving you will also hear three times an acoustic warning as soon as the
engine runs at over 1500 r.p.m. You must stop the car and turn the engine off: check
the oil level and top up if necessary.  If the warning lamp flashes even though the oil level is in order, do not continue driving. Do not even run the engine at idling speed. Call in expert assistance. If while driving the engine speed decreases below idling speed the oil pressure warning lamp may light up. Increase engine speed by accelerating or changing down gear. 

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 fuel warning light - your fuel level is low and you need to top up to prevent running out of fuel. 

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 coolant warning light - the warning lamp lights up for a few seconds
as a functional check when ignition is switched on. If the lamp does not go out afterwards or lights up or flashes when driving, either the coolant temperature is too high or the coolant level too low. An acoustic signal will sound 3 times as an additional warning: Stop the vehicle immediately, switch the engine off and check the level. If necessary, add coolant.
  

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 battery warning light - indicates that your battery is no longer being charged, check that all terminals are corrected correctly. It could be that your battery has reached the end of its life, or the alternator could be faulty - get this checked out by your local SEAT workshop or independent garage. 

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 EPC warning light  - If there is a fault in the engine, a warning light will switch on. You can diagnose the fault by using the iCarsoft i908 Seat OBD Code Reader.

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 handbrake warning light - this will illuminate if there is either a problem within the ABS system (see the ABS light for more info) or if the brake fluid is too low. Check your brake fluid and top up if needed, if not you can use a scan tool which will gain access to the ABS module - such as the iCarsoft i908 Seat OBD Code Reader kit.

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 glow plugs heating warning light - your SEAT Ibiza is equipped with an automatic glow plug system. The indicator lamp lights up while the glow plugs are preheating. If the engine fails to start immediately, the glow plugs have not finished preheating. In this case, keep the clutch pedal depressed (or keep your foot on the brake if your vehicle has an automatic gearbox) until the engine starts. (applies to diesel cars only)

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 main beam - illuminates when the main beam has been turned on.

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 turn signal warning lights - illuminate when turning left, right or using hazard lights.

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 seatbelt warning light - you or your passenger needs to fasten your seatbelt.

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 tyre pressure warning light - indicates that a tyre on your vehicle is not inflated correctly. Please check your pressure levels and top up if needed.

SEAT Ibiza Mk3 traction control warning light - this warning light will flash if the traction control and the vehicle is moving. This might also illuminate with the ABS warning light & handbrake lights. You can diagnose this fault with the iCarsoft i908 Seat OBD Code Reader
