A. Yes, the VOL V1.0kit will let you read fault codes & will give you a description of the fault. It will also let you erase the fault codes and the check engine warning light.

Q. Will this VOL V1.0 kit allow me to find out why my ABS, brake & traction control warning lights are illuminated?
A. Yes, this VOL V1.0kit will let you read fault codes for the braking system. It will give you a unique fault code relating to a specific part of the abs system, for example 'rear left abs sensor' The kit will also allow you to erase the fault codes and dash warning lights.

Mike Potter, Lewisham, UKI bought this kit because I needed to diagnose an airbag light fault in my Volvo V70. The kit came fairly quickly and I was able to find the airbag fault straight away. I was able to reset the trouble codes, and turn off the airbag light on the dashboard. Well worth the money and will save me in future as I now have the ability to diagnose faults in the car myself as opposed to paying a garage to do it for me. Cheers.!
Kevin Brown, Middlesbrough, UKOur little Volvo C30 has been with us from new but recently the ABS/skid and a couple of other warning lights appeard on the dash as we were driving on the motorway. I bought the VOL V1.0 kit as it was described as being able to diagnose this type of fault in a Volvo C30. The description was correct, and I diagnosed a faulty ABS sensor for the rear left side. This was replaced by myself and was then able to erase the abs trouble codes and remove the warning lights on the speedo cluster. Money very well spent in my opinion and always handy to have in my glovebox.
Brian Hopkins, Chelsea, UKFor about 6 months now my Volvo S60 has had the check engine warning light turning on and off intermittantly, and as this is a MOT failure I needed a fast solution as my MOT was upcoming. The VOL V1.0 kit allowed me to diagnose the fault which told me the MAF was faulty. I replaced the MAF and erased the codes. The car ran a lot smoother, MPG was improved and the check engine light no longer came on. Will definately recommend to anybody who has a problem or is looking to maintain their own car in times of need.

Wesley Voss, Uckfield, UKWe were selling our Saab 9-3 privately but the problem was it had the check engine light on. Not wanting to sell the car in a poor condition we looked at ways to turn the light off. We found the VOL V1.0 and it told us that one of the O2 Oxygen sensors was faulty, we replaced this (through our local garage) and the light was turned off. Although we didn't do the repair work ourselves, it gave us the information we needed to fix the car, and made sure we were not going to be ripped off at the local garage. Simmy Kleiner, Cote D'azur, FranceMy wife has a Volvo XC60 with an airbag warning light on the dashboard. I do like to give things a try myself as oppoesed to giving it to the garage. I received the tool really fast (ordered on the Friday and received on the Monday) I was not even required to do any repair work, because i tried to turn off the airbag light straight away and it worked. I am not sure this would always be the case as generally I would expect to maybe have to replace a sensor or something. Pleased to have bought the tool as it has fixed our problem really fast.
